SUPERthrive pH Up 0-0-5

SUPERthrive (Dyna Gro) pH Up 0-0-8 is used to increase the pH levels of nutrient solutions, is easy to use and is safe and effective.

SUPERthrive pH Up is designed for use in hydroponics, soil and soulless media as a safe and effective pH control.

What is pH?

• pH is a measure of acidity or alkalinity.
• For growing in soil, the pH range should be 6.0 to 6.5.
• In hydroponics, pH should be maintained between 5.5 and 6.0
• When the proper pH is achieved, the nutrients become more available to the plant. pH levels that are too low or too high can result in the release of, or tying up of, minerals in soils that can lead to toxic or deficient levels of some mineral elements. Lower the pH using Dyna Gro pH-DOWN if the pH is too high.
• pH of 7.0 is considered neutral.
• A lower pH is considered acidic, and a higher pH is considered alkaline.

Application Rates for pH Up 0-0-5

Superthrive pH Up may be used to control pH in all types of hydroponics and other growing applications. Care should be taken not to mix pH Up in too concentrated a form during application with proportions.

For use in holding tanks containing plant nutrients, pe-mix pH Up with four times its volume of fresh water before adding to the holding tank. Some initial cloudiness is normal.

For accuracy, pH should be tested before and after adding Superthrive pH Up to determine the exact pH of the solution. Most plants prefer a pH in the range of 6 to 7
